"What a lovely relaxing and peaceful place. Broke up the journey home from Cornwall and definitely a worthwhile stop. With the added bonus of Tesco being close by to grab a bottle. We sat enjoying a glass of wine around the fire pit, watching the sun go down. We even spotted an owl fly by 😊. We will be returning for a longer stay next time. "We visited and stayed at Forest Edge for one night this week, had an absolutely amazing time! The site itself is purely divine. It’s very peaceful and quiet, well maintained land, beautiful forestry scenery and the owners Andy and Sarah were very welcoming and ensured we had a lovely stay! Visited the local area, Sidmouth, during the day.. what a lovely quaint town and stunning beach, which is close to the campsite too. We wish we could have stayed longer to explore more but we will be back very soon. Thank you Andy and Sarah for the stay and your warm welcome! Highly recommend Forest Edge for a exceptional place to stay in Devon."

"We have just spent 4 amazing nights at Forest Edge Camping . We were taken back by the vast area of the field which is surrounded by beautiful forest. This is by far the most tranquil relaxing setting of our little Cornwall and Devon camper tour. Easy access to Honiton and Sidmouth and many other areas. Perfect for quiet getaways and ideal for walkers and cycling. The hosts Andy and Sarah were the most friendliest down to earth people we have met. Nothing is too much trouble and they are on hand with anything we needed. We will definitely be coming back to this beautiful place. We highly recommend this campsite."

"Lovely quiet spot in large secluded field overlooking forest. Spacious clean bell tent which accommodated 4 of us plus our 3 dogs. V dog friendly. Relaxed atmosphere with cosy fire pit for enjoying our evening. V friendly and accommodating owners who even helped us out with our flat car battery."

“Very friendly welcome. Private style, large pitches. The pitches were cut into the meadow, it was a really nice touch to have the longer wild patches to make it feel like your own spot. Showers warm, toilets clean. Dogs welcomed on leads. Dogs even had a field up the top to have a run and stretch. Our fire pit and logs were delivered to us each night which was a lovely touch. Would definitely come back and recommend others.”

“Peaceful spot with everything you need near by. Owners were super friendly & helpful. Liked that the pitches had space between them so you didn't hear other peoples conversations, decent showers, can explore the forests, travel to Beer for cliff top walk & beach swim.

I would definitely go again.”
